This the beginning of my attempt to design a poetry blog. I decided that it was not fair to my psyche to have all my poetry squirreled away in old binders- I want to see it on the page, give it a reason to live. At the same time I hope to include my own mythological notes that explain some of my more out there references. Most of my work forms a cycle ranging from the mid-seventies to the present day, and it covers a lot of ground. I'm a lousy diarist, getting antsy with making daily entries; my poetry is the closest thing to look at that reveals the some twisty roads of my mind. So- bear with me as I copy things, and in some cases, work the poems out on the page- I don't always know where I'm going either...
